Membership Categories

  • Individual Membership: Individual Membership is open to all registered pharmacists who are employed by duly registered companies in the pharmaceutical Industry engaged in manufacturing, importation and distribution of pharmaceuticals. Individual members are to pay annual subscription as may be determined by the AGM from time to time.
  • Corporate Membership: Corporate Membership is open to all pharmaceutical manufacturing, importation and distribution companies duly registered with Pharmacists Council of Nigeria. The corporate members shall pay an annual subscription as determined from time to time by the AGM.
  • Associate Membership: Associate Membership is open to all Nigerian Pharmacists in the diaspora who are bonafide members of legally recognized Pharmaceutical associations in their Country of practice. They will be required to pay an annual subscription to be determined by the AGM from time to time.
  • Affiliate Membership: Affiliate Membership is open to all Pharmacists who are 5 years and below post-graduation, who have an interest in pursuing a career in the Pharmaceutical industry provided they apply for membership and pay fees prescribed as may be determined by the AGM from time to time.

Benefits of Members

NAIP initiates and implements policies that economically empower members by fostering relationships with banks and allied organizations; provides ongoing training to enhance professional competence; protects members' interests through liaison with government bodies such as NAFDAC, PCN, Customs, and Police to prevent unnecessary obstacles; encourages and supports members entering pharmaceutical consultancy, importation, and distribution by offering technical assistance; collaborates with internationally recognized pharmaceutical manufacturers for members' benefit; disseminates up-to-date information on local and international pharmaceutical practice standards; establishes a central intelligence and surveillance unit to minimize counterfeit products in the industry; provides members and the public with current industry updates through the Pharma Industry Journal; and maintains a comprehensive, standardized database on Nigeria’s pharmaceutical industry.

CORPORATE DUES

NAIP is the technical group for all Pharmaceutical Manufacturing, Importing and Distribution companies.
Annual Due: N100,000
Payment of the Annual dues pre-registers the Company’s Superintendent Pharmacist for NAIP Annual National Conference.
Use Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN) payment platforms.

Individual Membership Subscription

All Pharmacists engaged in Production, Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, Marketing, Sales, Management, Journalism and Consulting in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing, Importing and Distribution companies

Annual Subscription: N3,000 (Must be paid together with welfare subscription)
